Outfy alternatives in 2026: 7 apps compared, and how to switch
Thinking of leaving Outfy? Here are 7 Shopify apps that auto-post your products, with real prices, who each one suits, and a step-by-step guide to switching safely.

Disclosure: We make AutoAgent, one of the apps below. Every app gets the same treatment here: real prices, who it’s for and one honest downside. Prices were checked on each app’s Shopify App Store page between 8 and 12 October 2026.
Outfy is the best-known Shopify app for posting products to social media. It’s been around since 2015, it’s rated 4.8 stars from 572 reviews, and it posts to more networks than almost anyone else. For many stores it works well.
But it isn’t right for everyone. If you’re reading this, you’re probably weighing up whether something else would suit your store better. Here’s an honest look at the options, and how to switch without your social accounts going quiet or posting twice.
Why stores look for an Outfy alternative
From Outfy’s own listing and its lower-star reviews, these are the most common reasons:
- The free plan is basic. It posts 1 product a day on each network with template captions and hashtags. AI captions, videos and TikTok start on the $25/month Essential plan.
- Posts go out automatically. The listing doesn’t mention a step where you approve each post before it goes live. A few reviewers were surprised by posts that went out before they’d finished setting up.
- Posts can feel repetitive. Some reviewers say the posts all look the same after a while.
- Billing and support. As with most apps in this category, some low-star reviews are about upgrade prompts and slow replies.
None of these make Outfy a bad app. They’re simply the things to compare when you look at the alternatives.
Quick verdict: which alternative suits you?
- You want a free plan that posts every day: Post Studio, AutoAgent, VibeFlow or Magik.
- You want to approve every post before it goes out: AutoAgent.
- You need Pinterest as well as Facebook and Instagram, on a free plan: Post Studio, AutoAgent or VibeFlow.
- You need TikTok, YouTube or X: VibeFlow or Magik, or stay with Outfy’s paid plans.
- You want the cheapest paid plan: Post Studio ($7.99/month) or VibeFlow ($8.99/month).
- You mostly want videos: Minta or SS.
- You want varied content, not just product photos: Xyla.
The 7 alternatives
1. Post Studio
Post Studio posts in “campaigns”: deals, random products or new arrivals.
- Free plan: 1 post a day and 1 campaign, on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and X, plus a video maker.
- Paid: Pro $7.99/month (5 campaigns, unlimited posts, automatic discounts), Unlimited $19.99/month (adds AI-written posts). 7-day free trial.
- Best for: budget stores that want discount and new-arrival posts.
- Downside: several low-star reviews mention posts that stopped going out or accounts that disconnected, so check your feeds in the first weeks.
2. AutoAgent
AutoAgent is our app. It posts one product a day to Facebook and Instagram with an AI-written caption, pins it to Pinterest, and shows you each post before it goes out.
- Free plan: a daily Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest product post with an AI caption, 4 product Reels a month, a weekly SEO blog article for your store, and 3 Pro posts a month. You see every post first and can edit or skip it.
- Paid: Pro $19/month (expert captions on every post, a Reel every day, branded photos, AI scenes of your products). 7-day free trial.
- Best for: stores that want daily posts without losing control of what goes out, plus a blog article every week. You can also control it from Telegram.
- Downside: one post a day, and no TikTok, X or YouTube. The Pin reuses the Facebook post’s caption. If you rely on TikTok or several posts a day, it isn’t the right switch. It’s also new, with only a few reviews so far.
3. VibeFlow
VibeFlow is a scheduler with templates and AI voice-overs for videos.
- Free plan: 1 channel, 10 posts a month (up to 2 a day), 5 video posts. Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest.
- Paid: Starter $8.99/month (3 channels, 450 posts), Basic $12.99/month (6 channels, 1,000 posts, adds X), Professional $38.99/month (12 channels, 4,000 posts). Paid plans add YouTube and TikTok.
- Best for: stores that want many networks and lots of posts for a low price. Rated 4.9 from 98 reviews.
- Downside: the free plan is small, at 10 posts a month on one channel, so most stores will need a paid plan for daily posting.
4. Magik
Magik mixes product posts with AI posts such as facts, stories and quotes.
- Free plan: 100 posts a month and 60 AI credits, mainly image posts.
- Paid: Mini $19/month (400 posts, videos and Reels), Standard $29/month (1,000 posts, AI product videos, auto-replies to comments), Maxi $79/month (3,000 posts). 7-day free trial on paid plans.
- Best for: stores that want a generous free plan and variety in their feed. Posts to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Downside: videos and Reels need a paid plan.
5. Xyla
Xyla creates a mix of product posts, facts, quotes, holiday posts and AI videos.
- Free plan: previews a schedule of posts, but doesn’t post them for you.
- Paid: Growth $29/month (30 autopilot posts a month), Pro $39/month (90 posts, adds X, YouTube and Instagram Stories), Enterprise $60/month. 7-day free trial.
- Best for: stores that want varied content and are happy to pay.
- Downside: nothing is posted until you pay, and Growth covers about one post a day.
6. SS (Social Media AI Auto Post)
SS focuses on AI campaigns, Reels and Instagram shopping.
- Free plan: none. 7-day free trial.
- Paid: Starter $11.99/month (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, auto-posts your Shopify blog links, Instagram product tagging), Pro $21.99/month (1 Reel and 1 Story a day, adds TikTok), Enterprise $45.99/month.
- Best for: stores that sell a lot through Instagram and want daily Reels and Stories.
- Downside: no free plan, and Reels start at $21.99/month.
7. Minta
Minta turns your products into short videos and posts them.
- Free plan: none. 7-day free trial.
- Paid: Starter $5/month (5 advanced AI videos and 400 standard videos a month), Pro $35/month, Growth $55/month. Posts to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Best for: stores that want lots of product videos at a low starting price.
- Downside: several low-star reviews are about billing, such as being charged for a full year after the trial. Check monthly vs yearly before the trial ends.

How to switch from Outfy without a gap or double posts
The main risk when switching is posting twice a day for a while (both apps running), or nothing at all (one switched off before the other works). Do it in this order:
- Note what’s working. Before changing anything, write down your current posting time, networks, hashtags you like and any products you exclude.
- Install the new app and connect your accounts. Set it up fully, but don’t switch on automatic posting yet if the app lets you wait.
- Pause Outfy’s automatic posting. Turn off its auto-posting inside the Outfy app, so only one app posts from now on.
- Switch on the new app. Let it run for a few days and check each post on your Facebook Page and Instagram account.
- Uninstall Outfy when you’re happy. In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps, click the three dots next to Outfy and choose Uninstall. Shopify stops future charges when you uninstall, but you may still be billed for the current billing period. If you think you’re owed a refund, contact Outfy before you uninstall.
- Check for a yearly plan. If you paid Outfy for a year, uninstalling stops it renewing, but a refund for the unused months is up to the developer. Ask them first, or switch near the end of the year you paid for.
Quick checklist
- Decided which networks you really need (Pinterest and TikTok narrow the list)
- Decided whether you want to approve posts before they go out
- Tried a free plan that posts before paying for anything
- Paused Outfy’s auto-posting before switching the new app on
- Checked your feeds for the first week
- Uninstalled Outfy from Settings → Apps once the new app is working
